‘Good reasons’ for Alaska LNG

There are “good reasons” to push through the development of the proposed Alaska LNG export project in the US, the co-ordinator of statutory authority the Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects, Larry Persily, says. This is despite challenging market conditions that are tightening cash flows for such investments. “Market conditions do not warrant front-end engineering and design spending, and project partners are seeing tighter cash flows. But there are good reasons to push the project through,” Persily says.
