Find lifts Tanzania gas reserves

UAE-based Dodsal has discovered 2.17 trillion ft~3 (61bn m~3) of natural gas in Tanzania’s Ruvu basin, in the south of the country. The latest find lifts Tanzania’s total proven gas reserves to 57.3 trillion ft~3 (1.6 trillion m~3), comprising onshore and offshore reserves, energy ministry geologist Erasto Simon says.
