US' Koch agrees supply deal

Lithuanian state-controlled gas firm Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas (LDT) has signed a contract to receive LNG from US company Koch Industries in 2017. Koch will supply about 2TWh, equivalent to 130,000t of LNG or around two standard-sized cargoes. The supply will allow LDT to meet more than one-third of its expected demand next year, it says. The LNG will be delivered to Lithuania's 2.9mn t/yr Klaipeda LNG terminal.
