Indian state-controlled gas importer Gail has delayed the bid deadline for a tender to build nine LNG carriers. Bids can now be received until 31 March, a month later than the original deadline of 29 February. This is the second time that the company has delayed the date for submissions, having originally reissued the tender in September (AGL, January, p4).
