Dubai installs world’s largest FSRU

Dubai’s Jebel Ali LNG import terminal has increased regasification capacity by almost 45pc to 1bn ft~3/d (10.3bn m~3/ yr) by installing the biggest floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in the world. The 151,000m~3 Explorer FSRU will have LNG import capacity of 7.3mn t/ yr. Other modifications include a bunker port installed on the FSRU.
