LNGL signs KBR to Magnolia LNG project

Australian independent LNGL has appointed US engineering firm KBR to work on its 8mn t/yr Magnolia LNG project in Louisiana, despite growing doubts over the economic viability of some LNG export projects following the slump in oil prices. KBR will provide technical services such as cost verification and project delivery, and will join South Korea’s SK that is already working on the project.
