Port Meridian LNG signs UK customer

Joint-venture project Liberty Natural Gas has signed an initial agreement to sell gas to a UK buyer from its planned Meridian LNG import terminal offshore western UK (AGL, July 2009, p28). Liberty will announce the identity of the counterparty in early February. Supplies would primarily come from Australian developer LNGL’s Magnolia LNG export terminal on the Calcasieu river, near Lake Charles, Louisiana, scheduled to come on line in late 2018 to early 2019 (AGL, November, p12).
