Japanese shipbuilder Kawasaki Heavy Industries(KHI)is building two LNG-fuelled car transport ships for Norway’s United European Car Carriers for an undisclosed sum.The two dual-fuel propulsion system,3,800ceu(car equiva-lent units)ships will be built by Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering,KHI’s 50:50 joint venture with China’s state-owned maritime industry conglomerate Cosco.Delivery is targeted for the second half of 2016.
