Bree sees 370mn t/yr global LNG demand by 2020

The global LNG market will grow to 370mn t/yr by 2020, up from 240mn t/yr in 2013, based on existing contracts and committed investment, the Australian government’s commodities forecaster Bree says in its 2014 Gas Market Report. LNG trade will grow rapidly as new supplies enter the market from Australia and the US, and as Russian exports expand.
