Spot LNG deliveries to Europe have become more competitive as an alternative to pipeline gas, Lithuania’s Litgas says. Litgas, a subsidiary of utility Lietuvos Energija, is in a position to make spot purchases this winter, depending on the price at which LNG is offered. And it could make spot purchases if prices drop below the cost of pipeline supply, Litgas procurement general manager Dominykas Tuckus says.
