1D/2D Bi2S3@Ti3C2 heterojunction was synthesized by hydrothermal growth method. The obtained Bi2S3@Ti3C2 heterojunction was employed as photocatalyst for rapidly photocatalytic removal of tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH). Under simulated sunlight irradiation, the Bi2S3@Ti3C2 heterojunction with 15 wt% Ti3C2 dosage showed the highest photocatalytic activity. And its photodegradation efficiency was 98 % in 50 min. The photodegradation efficiency of Bi2S3@Ti3C2 could reach 87 % in 50 min after 4 cycles. The mechanism of the Bi2S3@Ti3C2 heterojunction for TCH photodegradation was discussed by free radical capture experiment. The results showed that the main active species were center dot O-2(-) and center dot OH during the photocatalytic removal of TCH. It proved that 1D/2D Bi2S3@Ti3C2 heterojunction could be a useful way to promote the photocatalytic capacity of Bi2S3 during antibiotic wastewater purification.
