Vitol buys majority stake in German gas-for-transport player Liquind

Commodity trading group Vitol has acquired a majority share in Liquind, a German-based supplier of gas-for-transport in northwest Europe, the trading house said Sept. 28. No financial details of the transaction were given. Developing LNG fuel supply projects in Germany since 2015, Liquind currently has a network of 15 outlets serving the trucking industry in Germany with LNG for transport and aims to grow its network regionally and extend its offering to biogas for transport, the company said.
