Total has agreed to sell a 20pc stake in the 90,000 b/d of oil equivalent (boe/d) Laggan-Tormore gas and condensate project in the UK North Sea to utility SSE for ￡565mn ($880mn). As part of the deal, SSE will receive a 20pc share in the project’s onshore gas processing facility, 20pc of the nearby Edradour and Glenlivet discoveries and interests in a number of exploration licences. It leaves Total with a 60pc stake in the Laggan- Tormore complex.
