TotalEnergies to cut UK ofshore spending

TotalEnergies says it will cut its investment in UK ofshore oil and gas projects next year by 25pc because the government is raising its windfall tax on ofshore producers. The company also called for the government to remain open to cutting its tax before 2028 if the price environment changes.
