Norway slashes gas reserve estimates

Norway’s Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has slashed its undiscovered gas reserve estimates for the North and Norwegian seas, following disappointing drilling results. Estimated undiscovered reserves in the North Sea have been cut to 280bn m~3 from 500bn m~3, while in the Norwegian Sea, estimated reserves have dropped to 455bn m~3 from 825bn m~3.
