Litgas, Statoil agree LNG supply deal

Lithuanian state-controlled gas firm Litgas and Norway’s state-controlled Statoil have agreed a new deal to supply LNG to Lithuania at a slightly lower price. The volumes will also be lower, a source with knowledge of the agreement says. Litgas purchases 540mn m~3/yr of Norwegian gas, or 2.7bn m~3 over the term of the five-year contract.
