Kuwait’s state-owned refner KNPC on 16 January said it had extinguished a fre that broke out at its 346,000 b/d Mina al- Ahmadi refnery on 14 January. The refner issued a statement on 15 January, saying that it was in “full control” of the fre that broke at 10:00 local time at the refnery’s No.32 gas liquefaction unit.
