Ahead of a US Senate hearing on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s new natural gas project review policies, pipeline representatives March 2 laid out their concerns about the potential for delays and unknown costs for projects stemming from the new approach. In a briefing for reporters, Amy Andryszak, president and CEO of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, said FERC was “setting the stage to create chaos” in gas certification proceedings moving forward.
