BRAZILIAN independent Prio is poised to select the winning bidder for the subsea solution for the joint development of its Frade field and Wahoo pre-salt accumulation in the deep waters of the Campos basin offshore Brazil. Prio, formerly known as Pet-roRio before a name change and brand reconfiguration, is in final negotiations with suppliers as it seeks to award a key contract, said to be worth between $250 million and $500 million, for the subsea workscope of the Wahoo-Frade tie-back.
