Algeria’s prime minister Abdelmalik Sellal touted the stalled 8bn m~3/yr Galsi pipeline project that would increase his country’s export capacity to Italy on supply security grounds during a working visit to Rome on 27 May. “I would like to take this opportunity to recall that the Galsi pipeline project… is of paramount importance because of its ability to assure supply security for Italy and Europe,” he said.
