Shell takes operatorship of North Platte project in US Gulf; LLOG's Spruance field now online

Shell has acquired a 51% operated interest from Equinor of the ultra-deepwater North Platte field in the US Gulf of Mexico, the companies said June 29, while a day earlier privately held LLOG Exploration also brought online its Spruance discovery, also a deepwater US Gulf field.
