Gerresheimer expands Lohr facility

Pharmaceutical glassmaker Gerresheimer has expanded its plant in Lohr, Germany, with a new line focused on lightweight articles. The additional line, which brought with it 16 new jobs, was instituted at the same time the company was replacing the glass furnace at the plant. That was accomplished in just 43 days, according to reports. 'We managed to install the furnace in record time thanks to the hard work and commitment of the entire team at Lohr," Andreas Kohl, general manager at Gerresheimer Lohr, told media.
