Our strength is a broad product portfolio serving a range of user industries. The Rath Group is a family business currently under the management of the fifth generation with the headquarter in Vienna (Austria). Thefamily can now look back on five generations, more than 120 years of company history and approx. 600 employees. It consists of the Rath AG as holding company, quoted on the Vienna Stock Exchange, with plants in Austria, Germany, Hungary and USA. Since the takeover of a factory in Krummnussbaum in 1891, the company, has been manufacturing refractory products. It has extended and adapted its product range to changing market requirements based on constant development activities, the extension of its production sites in Austria and a strategy of internationalization that has been pursuing systematically for years now. Over time, refractory castables and mouldables were also included in the product selection as well as vacuum-shaped products of aluminum silica wool (RCF) as of 1983.
