Glass industry sees significant improvement

Tajikistan has significantly increased production of building glass and glassware (container). According to the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the country, since the beginning of this year in the Kayrakum glass factory (still the only glass factory in RT) made of glass products for a total of more than 5 million somoni (over $ 1 million). For the first eight months of the year (January - August), output was more than 190 thousand square metres of construction glass in excess of 3.3 million somoni. This equates to 94.7 thousand square metres more than the same period last year.
