Antwerp receives EU grant for LNG bunkering

The Belgian port of Antwerp is expected to receive a subsidy from the European Commission to develop and build an LNG bunkering station for barges. This subsidy is part of a larger ?40mn ($53mn) grant given out to 33 projects — including LNG bunkering for the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands — by the commission’s Trans- European Transport Network executive agency.
