Trinidad asks Atlantic to feed small LNG markets

Trinidad and Tobago’s government has asked the country’s LNG producer Atlantic to prepare to deliver small cargoes to neighbouring markets such as Barbados that have been importing from the US. Atlantic, the sixth-largest LNG producer in the world with 14.8mn t/yr of liquefaction capacity, is not configured to deliver LNG to small vessels. Atlantic has not responded publicly to the request to study providing smaller shipments.
