Sydney-listed Energy World (EWC) aims to complete the construction of its 500,000 t/yr Sengkang LNG production plant in south Sulawesi, Indonesia, by the end of 2016, a year later than planned. EWC had planned for the facility to begin commercial operations by mid-2016. The firm attributed the postponement to delays in securing feedgas, which has had a knock-on effect for signing up customers and finalising financing. The company hopes to complete construction and begin commissioning and operations by the end of this year.
