NWS LNG issues another 2015 auction

Australia’s 16.3mn t/yr North West Shelf (NWS) LNG plant issued its second auction this year on 12 January, to sell an unspecified number of cargoes for delivery between April and early July. The auction closes on 19 January. The auction was issued by NWS Australia LNG (ALNG), which markets cargoes on behalf of project operator Australian independent Woodside, UK-Australian firm BHP Billiton, BP, Shell, Chevron and Japan Australia LNG — a consortium comprising Japanese trading firms Mitsui and Mitsubishi. NWS LNG partners own 16.67pc each in the project.
