NBP near-curve contracts mostly fell last month as UK LNG terminals increased September and October bookings. UK terminals received up to 1.85mn m~3 of LNG, the highest for September since 2011. And the pace of bookings for October quickened at the end of September. Higher receipts boosted sendout and softened NBP near-curve contracts, and could preserve stocks for later in the winter. The NBP-TTF October basis averaged ?0.002/MWh in August, but the contracts moved to parity in September, with the NBP October price dipping below its equivalent at the TTF on a number of days.
