Sinopec’s Qingdao LNG terminal on track

China’s state-controlled Sinopec is on track to commission its 3mn t yr Qingdao LNG receiving terminal in August and start commercial operations by November or December. Sinopec may require a total of two cargoes to commission and ready the terminal for commercial start-up.Bu it has yet to decide on the source fo its commissioning cargoes.Qingdao in Shandong province,is Sinopec’s firs LNG receiving facility.
