Woodside asserts Browse control

Australian independent Woodside Petroleum has no plans to transfer con trol of the Browse floating LNG(FLNG offshore Western Australia to Shell,it project partner and major shareholder. Woodside chief executive Pete Coleman said on 21 February that there are no plans to transfer the ownership of the project,which aims to take a fina investment decision in the second half o next year.The project comprises three FLNG facilities,each with a capacity o 3.9mn t/yr and condensate production capacity of 17,000-22,000 b/d(AGL September,p1).
