Total signs deal for Yamal LNG

Total will buy 4mn t/yr from the Yama LNG project led by Russian independ-ent Novatek with 3mn t/yr to be exported to Asia-Pacific and 1mn t/yr earmarked for Europe,Total says.Yamal LNG has now sold over 75pc of the 16.5mn t/yr it expects to produce to buyers in Europe and Asia-Pacific.China’s state-owned CNPC has bought 3mn t/yr,while Spain’s Gas Natural Fenosa has bought 2.5mn t/yr.
