The Panama Canal Authority(ACP)expects about one lade and one ballast LNG vessel/day to traverse the canal by 2020 based on published projections for US exports to Asia-Pacific LNG traffic through the canal could be higher at tha time,but likely no more than two or three laden vessels/day ACP marketing and forecasting manager Silvia de Marucc says.ACP will review its master plan in 2025 and could expand the canal further with a fourth set of locks,if neces sary,she says.
