Covestro Invests in More Sustainable Polycarbonates Production in Asia

Shanghai-Covestro announced plans to invest in mechanical recycling(MCR)of polycarbonates at two sites in Asia-Pacific to produce more sustainable polycarbonates.The company will invest over €27-million to set up its first dedicated line for MCR of polycarbonates at its integrated site in Shanghai,China,which will address the growing demand for more sustainable solutions,in particular with post-consumer recycled products.
