Novatek completes Ust-Luga phase 2

Russia’s leading independent gas producer Novatek has completed the second stage of its condensate splitter and terminal at the Baltic port of Ust-Luga. The new stable condensate fractionation unit and a second deepwater berth will add 3mn t/yr of capacity, taking the complex’s overall capacity to 6mn t/yr. Testing is under way and should finish by the year’s end, allowing exports to rise.
