BPX-Ni Beverage Can End Coating

AkzoNobel has developed and released Accelshield~TM 700,a new beverage-end internal coating technology based on a blend of specialty solvent-based polyesters,free of styrene and BPX-ni(no intentionally added bisphenols of any type).The company says that this product can be integrated easily within existing manufacturing processes to meet both current and future regulations.Accelshield~TM 700 is designed to be suitable for many drink types and reportedly displays good retort performance,which enables reduced complexity on the line with minimal changeovers.
