Petrobras weighs up Mero bids

AT least two contractors have submitted bids in a Petrobras tender to carry out decommissioning of flexible lines of the early production system installed at the giant Mero pre-salt field in the Santos basin offshore Brazil. The Brazilian state-controlled oil company received commercial proposals on 22 July for an engineering, preparation, removal and disposal (EPRD) contract that was labelled internally as SPA-1 Libra.
