Meotica filaria (Fauvel, 1898) (Staphylinidae) new to Britain

While visiting Buxted Park, East Sussex on 10 May 2017, a good number of mainly small beetles were swept from low vegetation in the afternoon during warm, calm and rather humid conditions at TQ487226. On preparing the specimens sometime later, I found a female Meotica among the catch.
