Total gas in place at US upstream inde- pendent Anadarko’s discovered reser- voirs in its block 1 offshore Mozambique is approaching a potential 100 trillion ft3 (2.8 trillion m3), the firm estimates. Total estimated recoverable natural gas resources at the block are 30 tril- lion-60 trillion ft3, Anadarko says. This follows the Atum discovery in the block. Preliminary data indicate that Atum is connected to the Golfinho discovery in the same block.
