Last week we reported that Uralkali and Eurochem each won auctions to develop the separate blocks of the Verkhnekamskoye deposit in the Perm region, Russia. This week there are reports that The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia may cancel the tender for the Nepskoye potash deposit in the Irkutsk region. Earlier, Uralkali Chairman of the Board of Directors and the head of the state corporation Rosteh Sergey Chemezov wrote a letter to the Ministry of Industry and Trade arguing that the auction should be cancelled.
