Supply of capro grade amsul in China is limited for May because several producers have reduced output of caprolactam due to the poor market.Haili is operating its Shandong plant at 50%of capacity and its Jiangsu plant at about 80%. The turnaround at Sinopec’s large Shijiazhuang plant has been extended to August.The plant was closed in April,originally for three months,for revamp and to tie in a new caprolactam unit.However,due to the state of the caprolactam market,the start up of the new unit at Shijiazhuang may even be delayed until the end of the year.
