Gazprom sticks to export forecast

Gazprom chief executive Alexei Miller is confident that the firm can export “at least” 150bn m~3 to Europe and Turkey this year — almost 8pc up on 2012. Miller notes that first-quarter exports to Europe and Turkey were up by 6pc on the same period last year. March exports were up by 30pc on the year, with shipments in the final week of the month up by 60pc, thanks to exceptionally cold weather in northwest Europe.
