No more sales to Bulgarian firm

Gazprom has stopped delivering gas to Bulgarian company Overgas, follow- ing the expiry on 31 December of the companies’ supply agreement, under which the Russian state-controlled firm had been delivering approximately 50mn m~3/quarter. Instead, Gazprom — which holds a 50pc stake in Overgas — has since 1 January been increasing gas supplies to Bulgaria’s state-owned Bulgargaz to the maximum contracted level of 8mn m~3/d. Bulgargaz has been reselling this extra gas to Overgas, which it had not done previously.
