Gasoline exports due to rise

Russian gasoline exports are likely to grow to 310,000t in January, reflecting the usual dip in domestic demand during the new year holidays, market participants say. The rise is not expected to be as big as in previous years because gasoline export duty remains at 90pc of the crude export duty rate. After an eight-month break, Bashneft's Ufa refineries plan to resume exports of 92-octane gasoline, and are due to ship 70,000t to Kazakhstan in December-February, traders say.
