Socar launches Fujairah tank farm

Azerbaijan's state-controlled Socar will open a product tank farm at a new terminal at the UAE port of Al Fujairah this month. It plans to unload the first fuel oil cargo at the terminal in the next two weeks, but does not disclose product specifications or the source. "The terminal has product blending capacity, but the first fuel oil cargo will not be blended with other grades," Socar Trading's Dubai office chief Christian von Langermann says.
