The Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) conference - held from September 14-17 in London - marked a big week for AERALIS, as the UK-based startup revealed new plans for its family of modular military aircraft and announced a propulsion partnership with Rolls-Royce. AERALIS was initially established with the aim of developing a family of three modular, next-generation jet trainers that were rapidly reconfigurable and shared a common architecture, enabling the aircraft to support various mission sets. The announcements that were made before and during the DSEI conference not only marked some of AERALIS's key achievements to date but also saw the company reveal and explain new plans to deliver a low-cost, reconfigurable multi-mission platform as a solution for the future requirements of air forces around the world.
