CPC Blend for Ukraine

Ukrtatnafta, the operator of Ukraine’s 363,000 b/d Kremenchug refinery, has bought an 84,000t cargo of CPC Blend crude from Azerbaijan’s Socar. The cargo — the first crude deliv- ery to Odessa in four years — was dis- charged on 31 August at an oil terminal owned by Ukraine’s Privat group, which controls Ukrtatnafta. Crude is shipped from Odessa to Kremenchug by rail. The CPC Blend cargo origi- nally came from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, which is the con- sortium led by Italy’s Eni and the UK’s BG that operates Kazakhstan’s Karachaganak gas condensate field.
