EU agrees Russia technology ban

EU member states have agreed on further sanctions against Russia.The measures will restrict Russian access to EU capital markets,defence,dual-use goods and sensitive technologies, including those used in the oil sector. The ban on EU exports of sensitive technology—including those used in shale oil and arctic exploration—will not affect the gas sector.But restricting Russian access to EU capital markets will affect all Russian energy companies.
