Tuesday this week saw three unrelated deals - any one of which has the potential to shape the future direction of the Asean republic's energy security. Pertamina and Petronas acquired Shell's partner stake in Inpex's proposed Abadi liquefied natural gas project, while existing IDD co-venturer Eni took over operatorship and majority equity from Chevron.
