Gazprom goes Dutch for Depa

Russian state-controlled Gazprom’s Dutch subsidiary Gazprom Finance will bid for the Greek state’s stake in gas importer and distributor Depa. The tender results are due next month. Gazprom is competing with Greek consortium M&M GasCo and Russia’s Negusneft. Depa supplies 90pc of the 4bn m~3/yr of gas sold in Greece. Also for sale is Depa’s wholly owned transportation subsidiary Desfa.
